Submit Classified

Anyone can submit Free Equestrian Classifieds to Allied Equine (that way we get a really useful site for all of us!), however, try to include the following details. Also, it makes things much easier if you do decide to register with Allied Equine (free!), then you can login and write from there (with a Word editor to add bold and coloured text too, plus enhanced image options):

Price - This is what people want to know;
Your Location - Say where you are in the world (nearest town, region, country) so people know whether it would be possible to collect from you. If you are prepared to mail your item, say so!
Contact Details - Without contact details, how will anyone be able to buy what you’re selling? The easiest way it to use a free email account which will stop any spammers. You could also use your phone number or similar. Try not to use anything which identifies your location too specifically.
Details and Descriptions - the more details, the easier it is for people to know whether or not they might want to buy from you.

Optional Extras

Photos - Upload a photo to show your item in the best possible light. A good photo speaks a thousand words.
Videos - input the URL (not the embed code) of a YouTube video and it will be shown alongside your listing. This will help you to sell!

That’s it. Remember, what you put into the big box is what people will see - they can’t get your email address unless you put it in there!

Be sure to place the following:

Title - say What you are selling, and where you are located.

Content - You need the following:

Price; Your Location; Contact Details; Details about what your selling.

Without that information, people will not know enough to buy from you! Also, be sure to add a picture below: if it is too big, you can simply make it smaller with an image software (come with your computer) and re-save it as a new name.

If you do register with Allied Equine, you’ll also be able to write a little about yourself to be displayed under every classified ad we publish that you submit, and you’ll be able to edit or delete your posts in future to say when they have sold.

Hi Shelley, we moderate every submission to the site, so it takes a little while for new additions to go ‘live’. The great thing is, once you’ve added a couple of accepted ads, we’ll let you put ads straight in without moderation!

You’d be surprised how many people try to submit things that are nothing to do with horses (like “work from home and earn $1,000,000 a day stuff”) that we really don’t want the site full of. This isn’t Gumtree!

However, hopefully your ad has been approved by now - I will have a look.

Thanks for submitting - we’ll try to be more clear about this process so that people don’t have the same question in future, so thanks for making your comment too. Hopefully we can help you sell your horse as well
