New Look Allied Equine Takes Off!

Info

Please forgive us, here at Allied Equine, this one inward-looking piece – a newsletter of sorts – for those countless thousands of you who have been repeatedly coming back to our site day after day, week after week.

Here at Allied Equine, we’ve been pretty lackadaisical about keeping this website up-to-speed. For good reason. When we originally set this site up, Jono Farrington, the primary writer, had not moved into his new equestrian property. As any who have experienced this distinct pleasure will surely attest, setting up shop in a new place takes a little time and energy, and leaves little for things like resting, let alone writing and updating an equestrian sport blog.

But that is not to say we have been inactive – far from it!

However, the classifieds that we set up back in 2007 proved to be fairly successful – so we’ll be bringing them back in a different section of the website ASAP (within the next 48 hours to be precise) to unclutter this news, blog and videos area, and allow the classifieds to grow into a bigger, better and more scam-free purpose built area.

Also, we’re removing the evnt listings sections as that has now migrated to our sister website, IKnowWhereItsAt.com, which lists all sorts of events and activities – allowing us, here at Allied Equine to further focus on what we are:

The Equestrian Sports Blog.

The name says it all really – this is a blog website (so that means leave comments, argue with us, hooray and boo as loud as you like!) which is focused on Equestrian Sport.

We will focus on jumping – read show jumping and cross country (eventing) as the blog’s main writers are actively participating in high quality jumping events around the world, however, there is always a place for all equestrian disciplines: so if you feel your sport is not receiving sufficient coverage, then you can do something about it: contact us and get involved, in some small way.

Google already has Allied Equine as the number one Equestrian Sport Blog, so that’s what we want to make it. Simple.
