Ludger Shines at Geneva FEI World Cup Showjumping - 9th December 2007

Ludger Beerbaum winning at Geneva on All Inclusive NRW

How good is this guy.? He seems to just keep getting better and I’m sure many of the worlds top riders will be a little nervous to say the least now that Ludger may have a horse capable of matching the feats of Ratina Z and Classic Touch.

Yesterday he took out the Geneva round of the World Cup on his new ride All Inclusive NRW from his sister in law Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum, and another super start lady rider of the moment Jessica Keurten.

“I’ve had him in my stable for two and half years. He came from a local rider who bred and rode him himself. He was a bit too sharp and he asked me to try him and since then he has been with us. I have been riding him for a year, before that Hendrick, one of the boys in my stable, rode him and his first big class was in Wiesbaden where he won and was second and then he was fourth in Maastricht and Sao Paolo and sixth in Stuttgart before winning today. He is only eight years old so now I will give him a break, I will not go to Zurich with him, he needs a rest and then I will look to bring him out for the outdoor season with a hope of taking him to the Olympics” Ludger explained.

Watch out Beijing.
