This week – on Saturday – will see the UKs biggest race of the year, the Grand National, take place.

A field of over 30 horses will run the gruelling 4 and a half miles of Aintree, jumping 40 flights as they slog it out to become the latest in a line of historic champions.

The Grand National has produced many fairytale results over the years, most notably the three victories of the people’s favourite Red Rum, as well as Bob Champion recovering from cancer to win aboard Aldaniti.
